I have a camera, tripod, pencils, paper, and patience. I know how to make the clips shorter and put it in movie maker so it looks like an animation, but how do I animate smoothly so it looks like an animation?
At the very least, you need some kind of plane or table to lay the artwork on, shooting two frame at a tim and allowing the smoothe progression of things. If you have the real guts for it, one frame per artwork, but paper so prettythat means you need a whole lot of artwork (24 frame a second)
There is this special type of paper that animators use to make animation-type-ish movies.
Pretty much you just draw on it and once you are done with the piece, apply another layer of that paper and draw over it. But when you draw over, draw the next move/stage of your animation. The paper is actually kinda see-thu so you could see the drawn layer underneath whenpaper so pretty you draw the next piece for the animation...
I've seen a documentary of Walt Disney when they made the movie The Princess and the Frog :)
Other than that, you just have to draw better and make sure that the layers are directly on top of one another if it is not a motion type animation :) Also since it's a drawn animation, each layer must be consistent with each other for it to flow evenly :D
draw evenly
