has anybody ever heard of this p2p site? it looks good but im not sure.

Imesh used to be one of the top p2p sites a couple years ago. They got hounded by the feds, then started adding some pretty nasty spyware and adware - so their popularity quickly went downhill. I'd advise to stay away from them at all costs.
I had the same problem. The only possible sure thing that worked was to reimeshstore my computer to a time before I installed imesh. imesh no longer shows up on my computer or search engine.
imesh is terrible. Once installed, you cannot unintall completely. It seems to hijack your system and stes itself as the default search engine. The only way to get rid of it is to perform a system restore. I have tried everything else, bimeshut system restore definitely works.
Used to use it all the time, but beware...the feds are watching. I don't use any of these sites anymore.
Imesh is decent, just beware of spyware/adware.
Beware of viruses you may download in misnamed/miscategorized files.
p2p is a great idea, except for people that know nothing about system security.
