I have a few questions about Kim Jong Il, sorry, I don't really know much about him and am a bit confused about his life/situation.
1. Is he evil?
2. What has he done bad in his lifetime/time of ruling?
3. What years did he rule?
4. Are we (Americans) happy he's dead?
5. Are South Koreans happy he's dead?
6. Are North Koreans happy he's dead?

1. Yes. He's an evil bastard who brainwashes/starves/tortures/kills his own people.

3. 1994-today (well, technically, yesterday).
4. Yes. Again, he was an evil bastard.

6. I'm sure a few are, but most probably confusing questions about lifearen't. He had them severely brainwashed, making them think he was a God and that he took care of them. Many are probably devastated.
Watch some documentaries on North Korea. It will make you angry and sad.

-Probably but worried fearing his son will be just as bad they are happy because he would kidnap citizens and brain wash them
6. Are North Koreans happy he's dead?
They have to mourn and be sad and act like their lord and savior is dead but deep down they are all hoping for change like me!
